Clifford Sanchez
Deputy Clifford Sanchez was killed in the line of duty on April 6, 1985, when two suspects robbed and fatally shot him when they found his law enforcement ID in his wallet. Cliff was a dedicated deputy who served nearly six years with our department, he was well respected throughout the law enforcement community.
He was 31 years old at the time of his death and left behind his wife and three children.

Shortly after the countywide peace officer memorial in May 2023, SEBA joined members of the Sheriff's Honor Guard as they embarked on a mission across the county. Their goal? To draw attention to specific monuments dedicated to their fallen brothers.
