RETIREMENT SECURITY
Law enforcement is a physically and mentally demanding profession, with officers facing constant stress, long hours, and cumulative health impacts over time.
AB 1383 addresses these realities by lowering the retirement age to 55 and recognizing that public safety professionals should not be expected to perform at peak levels late into their careers.
