SEBA supports law enforcement retirement reform

While Governor Newsom’s veto of AB 1383 on September 20, 2026 was not the outcome we had hoped for, SEBA remains committed to pursuing common-sense legislative reform that supports our members’ retirement.

Law enforcement takes a physical and mental toll over the course of a career. We will continue advocating for retirement policies that recognize those demands and help our members retire with dignity and financial security.
