Hold The Line - California Peace Officer Memorial
It’s more than a phrase—it’s a promise. A vow made by every peace officer who wears the badge, and a legacy carried by those who gather each May at the California Peace Officer Memorial. Law enforcement families, colleagues, and communities don’t come together just to mourn—but to remember, to honor, and to reaffirm that we will not forget.
This year, we at SEBA were proud to stand alongside our members on the Honor Guard, representing our fallen with dignity, discipline, and deep respect. To be present—both in body and spirit—for those whose names are etched in stone was not just a responsibility, but a privilege. We hope this film offers a moment of reflection, a reminder of the cost of service, and a space to honor those we’ve lost. It was created with reverence—for the fallen, for their families, and for every officer still carrying the torch.
These ceremonies aren’t just tradition—they’re lifelines. Behind every name read and every candle lit is a story, a family, and a legacy. Behind every badge is a life of purpose—and behind every loss, a lasting impact. For the public, “Hold the Line” is a window into what service truly means. It’s not just about duty—it’s about sacrifice, community, and the courage to carry forward in the face of heartbreak.
To every peace officer who still stands the line: Your courage matters. You are not alone. From all of us here at SEBA—we appreciate you, we support you, and we see you.
